Through the wine glass.

My current endeavour in painting involves still lifes of glassware, and metallic objects. The distortion created by the refraction and reflections is the interesting part for me. My works are in oil and on linen canvases and at the moment they are 27"x 36".
To achieve control of light, and to achieve maximum reflections and shadows, I have constructed a large box in which the still life is set up.
